Rules
All players are expected to read and follow the server rules. Breaking rules can result in a
warning, kick, or permanent ban depending on severity.
The full server rules are maintained on the
Rules page. The sections below are a summary — always refer to the full rules page as the authoritative source.
Core principles
- Roleplay is the priority at all times. All players must stay in character in the city unless an admin situation requires otherwise.
- Respect all players and staff. Harassment, discrimination, or toxic behaviour will not be tolerated.
- No random deathmatch (RDM) — killing without roleplay reason is a bannable offence.
- No vehicle deathmatch (VDM) — using vehicles as weapons without roleplay context is prohibited.
- No metagaming — do not use information your character would not reasonably know.
- No powergaming — do not force outcomes on other players or use exploits to gain an advantage.
Communication
- All voice chat in-city must be in character. Use out-of-character (OOC) channels only when necessary.
- Discord is the out-of-character platform for reporting issues, staff contact, and community discussion.

In-game Guides
Starter Guide
Your first session guide. Follow these steps when you log into Capital Roleplay for the first time.
1
Character creation When you first connect, you will be taken through character creation. Set your appearance carefully — changes later may require a store purchase. Your character name should match the one on your whitelist application.
2
Spawn at the starting location New characters spawn at the City Hall area. This is the in-character starting point where your character begins their life in the city.
3
Find a legal job New players should start with a legal job to earn money. Common starting jobs include delivery driver, garbage collector, or fishing. Look for job locations marked on your in-game map.
4
Get a vehicle Once you have some money, visit the vehicle dealership to purchase your first car. You can also use in-game taxis or the bus system until then.
5
Find housing Housing is available to rent or buy. Start with a basic apartment before working toward a larger property. Your home is used for clothing storage, item storage, and as a spawn point.
Use F1 to open the help menu at any time. It contains a full list of available commands and interactions.

General Weapon Guide
Everything you need to know about weapons in Capital Roleplay — how to obtain them, store them, and use them in roleplay.
Legal weapons
Legal firearms can be purchased from the licensed gun shop in-city. To purchase a legal weapon you must:
- Have a valid firearms licence (obtained through the licensing office)
- Pass the background check process (handled in-roleplay)
- Not be under an active criminal restriction
Illegal weapons
Illegal weapons are obtained through criminal roleplay channels. These weapons are not licensed and carry significant legal risk in-character. Possession of an illegal firearm by a civilian character without criminal faction backing is not recommended.
Storing weapons
- Weapons can be stored in your personal inventory, your vehicle boot, or your house storage.
- Weapons in the boot are accessible when near your vehicle. Press G to open the vehicle storage interface.
- You cannot carry all weapons at once — weight limits apply to the personal inventory.
Important: Using a weapon without proper roleplay justification is considered RDM and is a bannable offence. Always ensure there is a valid in-character reason before escalating to violence.
Weapon ammo
Ammo is purchased separately from the gun shop or obtained through criminal channels. Ammo is stored per weapon type in your inventory. Running out of ammo mid-situation is a genuine risk — manage it accordingly.

Vehicle Garage System
How vehicles work in Capital Roleplay — purchasing, garaging, impounds, and customisation.
Purchasing a vehicle
- Go to the vehicle dealership (marked on your map).
- Browse available vehicles and test drive before purchasing.
- Once purchased, the vehicle is registered to your character and stored in your personal garage.
Using the garage
- Drive to any garage blip on the map and press E to open the garage menu.
- Select a stored vehicle to bring it out. You will spawn inside or beside the vehicle.
- To store your vehicle, drive to a garage and press E — select "Store Vehicle".
- Vehicles left on the street overnight may be impounded by police or automatically despawned.
Impound
- If your vehicle is impounded, go to the impound lot (marked on the map).
- Pay the impound fee to retrieve your vehicle. Fees vary based on the reason for impound.
- Vehicles with outstanding fines may require those to be paid before retrieval.
Vehicle customisation
- Visit a mechanic shop or mod garage to customise your vehicle.
- Available modifications include: colour, wheels, engine upgrades, suspension, and body kits.
- Capital Roleplay uses custom vehicle packs — not all real-world modifications are available.
Vehicle mods that affect performance (engine, transmission, brakes) are subject to in-roleplay inspection by police. An upgraded vehicle is not invisible to law enforcement.
